"I started using Height's several years ago after nearby Primivera's went out of business.  The prices are a little higher than the local chain stores, but I'd much rather pay the extra few dollars to support local business. The service is fairly good, depending on what you're buying.  I've seen the employees bend over backwards to help customers making large purchases.  For those making smaller purchases, you generally have to approach them to get some help - they generally won't ask if you need help with anything.  But once you ask, they are accommodating and will answer your questions. They are also knowledgeable about the products they sell.  The quality of the merchandise is good and they seem to stand behind their products."
